Spring for sure this time

I thougt this was a cool picture. IN this picture you can see that our pugs and our g-lab are all in attack fromation. The pugs VS the Germansheperd lab mix hence the name G-LAb. you can also see my shadow in the picture i am sitting on the lawnmower.

This is my brother sky. He is by one of our famous bonfires I was trying to take night time pictures and i couldnt see the picture till i took them. SO it was really intersting.

This is our some what pretty kitty MEESHAW it weierd name lng story. She was molys last batch of kittens. She was just look so cute under this area and she is like all snizy and nasty right now but this is good pictue of her.

This is our broken down lawn mower. I was tring to fix it by charging the battery for it because is was dead. I hope we get it fixed I really miss the fresh mowed lawn smell.

These are the new kitnes. MOlly had them tuesday night. When i took this picture there was five kitens. Then on turesday we found a black and white one. We where not shure if it was mollys or the cat we call Gateway. There is A black and white one, white, ornge, and two gray kittens

This is a picture of a woodpecker in our huge tree and it was realy hard to take. I first had to move to the right side of the tree. Then i had to take the picture before it moved again. THis picture took ten minutes.

This is one our flowers in the front yard. It has the three yellow one and the one purple I think it looked really cool. So I took the picture.

Light, Camera... Action!

This picture is of our puppy Sunday attacking our cat tumbleweed. They do this all the time tumbleweed will just laydown and sunday will go after him and the play that way.

This picture is of food coloring in wather I used red, yellow, blue and green. What I did was this: I first put red in and waited a few seconds, then I added green and waited for a few seconds. Then I did yellow, and waited a few seconds. The I finally did blue and this is what happend.

This picture I put on here is really cool because of the night time background the color of the fire and the shape it to me looks like Washington State backwards.

Spring is here

This is my family. From oldest to yongest. We all haven't been togther for a while and we just need a good pictue together. In order it goes, Hugh, My Mom Kailee, Skyler, Levi, ME Dakota, Gabe, Jesse and cheyenne.

This picture is taken ten feet off the ground. I am on a ladder taking pictures of the ash pile from a huge fire that our family had. I looked cool because it is pretty much a perfect squre.

This Means Spring is here. My mom told me to take pictures of the flowers because it can look really cool if done right I liked this one best because it almost looks like the wind is blowing and is that is what made it blury. But i did that. The way I did it was when I took the picture I moved the camera righ after i pressed the picture button.

This picture took a minute. I went in the back yard with a ladder to take pictures of the burn spot you see in the above piture. I looked out and saw our neighbors horse in this stance. I was at least 100 yards away and I zoomed really close with the camra on top of a ladder. And I took the picture.

Portrait of a Pug.

Chibi acts like a spoiled princess, and here she looks like one.

Take me to your Leader

This picture is of a glow-eyed cat. This cat would not let me get close, but I took several pictures and each time the eyes would glow. I thought this looked real cool.
Now this picture is one of my favorite kind to take. I call them SNL pictures (Saturday Night Live) because when there is a speical host they take many pictures and then between commercials they show these pictures. I took this one for Cheyenne, my sister, for her face book.

OK this picture is of mack and chibi our pugs. They are relaxed and cuddling.

This picture is og a glowe eyed cat and this cat would not let me get close but i took severl pictures and each time the eyes would glow it looks real cool.

Improving my shots

I am working on getting a variety of different angles and focuses. Here are some examples.
It's challenging to take a phota that is sharp with a window in the background, but I did it!
For this, I focused just between Misha's eyes, which is where you will notice the picture is most clear.

This one looked better in person, I was trying to get all the animals like they were at a bus stop, but there is not good enough focus on any one thing. Plus the ground makes it look drab. I miss the snow.

My obsession with food photography continues.

Interacting Animals

I took the above photo from about 30 feet away, using the zoom feature.

These pictures were fun to take, and I had to wait to catch them doing different things.

Balance and still life

I decided to take pics of fruit to see how fun it would be. I was working on a photo that is balanced with a variety of color. I think I should have used a different background and gotten rid of the other stuff in the background that is not supposed to be part of the photo.

This is our new dog Sunday. She is really cute. I plan on getting some actionh shots of her, too.

This pic took some time! I had to sneak up behide the cat and scare it. It was hard but fun. So... here is the real scaredy cat. Notice how the background is kind of blurry, but the moving thing (cat) is sharp. That takes skill!

Radomness

I like the shadows from the lonely tractor in the snow.

I tried to actually change my subject here. I added red food coloring to my top ramen. It actually tasted better than it looked. I am interested in food photography, so when I finish the basic lessons, I might specialize in that.
