Portrait of a Pug.

Chibi acts like a spoiled princess, and here she looks like one.

Take me to your Leader

This picture is of a glow-eyed cat. This cat would not let me get close, but I took several pictures and each time the eyes would glow. I thought this looked real cool.
Now this picture is one of my favorite kind to take. I call them SNL pictures (Saturday Night Live) because when there is a speical host they take many pictures and then between commercials they show these pictures. I took this one for Cheyenne, my sister, for her face book.

OK this picture is of mack and chibi our pugs. They are relaxed and cuddling.

Improving my shots

I am working on getting a variety of different angles and focuses. Here are some examples.
It's challenging to take a phota that is sharp with a window in the background, but I did it!
For this, I focused just between Misha's eyes, which is where you will notice the picture is most clear.

This one looked better in person, I was trying to get all the animals like they were at a bus stop, but there is not good enough focus on any one thing. Plus the ground makes it look drab. I miss the snow.

My obsession with food photography continues.

Interacting Animals

I took the above photo from about 30 feet away, using the zoom feature.

These pictures were fun to take, and I had to wait to catch them doing different things.

Balance and still life

I decided to take pics of fruit to see how fun it would be. I was working on a photo that is balanced with a variety of color. I think I should have used a different background and gotten rid of the other stuff in the background that is not supposed to be part of the photo.

This is our new dog Sunday. She is really cute. I plan on getting some actionh shots of her, too.

This pic took some time! I had to sneak up behide the cat and scare it. It was hard but fun. So... here is the real scaredy cat. Notice how the background is kind of blurry, but the moving thing (cat) is sharp. That takes skill!
